MoovVision Uses AI to Rethink the Home Moving Experience
MoovVision applies artificial intelligence to household moving — one of the last major consumer services still quoted by eye.

Moving home is among the most stressful transactions most households undertake, and the industry's core estimating method has barely changed in fifty years: a surveyor walks the property, writes a list, and produces a number.
MoovVision, a technology company within the Nova Capital Holdings group, is building AI tools for the moving industry that begin with a phone camera instead.
Scan the room, not the paperwork
The customer walks through their home with a phone. Computer vision identifies household objects — sofas, wardrobes, appliances, boxes, fragile items — and builds a structured inventory as they go.
The information a mover needs already exists. It is just sitting in the room, unrecorded.
From objects to volume
That inventory becomes a volume estimate: cubic capacity, vehicle requirement, crew size and time. Packing needs follow — how much material, which items need crating, what requires specialist handling.
For the customer, this replaces a scheduled home visit with a few minutes of video. For the operator, it replaces an experienced estimator's intuition with a repeatable record.
Operational workflow, not just a quote
The larger value sits behind the quote. A structured inventory feeds job planning, load sequencing, crew briefing, insurance declarations and claims. The same data that produced the estimate can verify what was collected and what was delivered.
Reducing manual surveys
Manual surveys are expensive, slow and a bottleneck on how many jobs a company can quote in a week. Removing most of them changes the economics of a moving business — particularly for mid-sized operators without a large sales team.
AI in a physical industry
MoovVision's thesis is that the most durable applications of AI in the next decade will not be in software-native markets, but in traditional service industries where information capture has always been the weak link.
Moving is a good test case: high value, high anxiety, physically constrained, and almost entirely dependent on knowing exactly what needs to be transported.
Building for operators
The company's customer is the moving company. Product decisions are therefore made around operational fit — integration with existing systems, offline tolerance, and output a crew leader can read on a phone in a stairwell.
